All Vet's are special to me, But the WWII guy's for some reason have always held a higher place in my Heart, don't know why that is?

The nay-sayers and revisionists said it was a hollow act, but believe me, for the British it was very heartening, the first sign of hope in an otherwise dismal period of WW2 since September 1939, the start of the war for the British. Unless one was around at that time, one has no conception of the meaning of Hope was for that period.

With the knowledge of aviation at that time it was an Impossible Dream, but it did happen.
