finalized my '10

finally got my 2010 3500

Just signed all the paperwork on my new 2010 3500 SRW. Shes a beaut of a truck, drives real smooth. .



Gonna take pics when I get the time, shes at the rack builder now getting measured/built for a new stainless ladder rack.



Got a SLT model, cloth buckets, 6sp auto, 4x4, nav system (which is prety damn sweet), 8foot bed/club cab, 10 speaker system, backup camera and beeper (also sweet)



This truck really boogies compared to my old 05 5. 9. Even though the horsepower is supposedly the same, the new 6sp transmission really makes a big difference. And I love the exhaust brake, but havent had enough drive time yet.

Finally got a chance to take some pics of my truck. Rack builder took way longer than he said (2. 5wks, he said 1wk)



Shes a damn nice truck. Had to bring my tires up to 80psi to stop the jello effect on the highway, but thats all done now. . The nav system is pretty sweet. Also like the bluetooth Uconnect phone, its nice n clear. .

Not liking the shocks though, they ride a bit like jello. I`m thinkin I might go back to the dealer on this issue, as it has gotten a bit hairy when going around curves at 70mph, then ya hit a drainage divot. Thing starts bouncin and doesnt stop. .

other than that, i`m happy.

Interesting that it does it on a 3500 SRW too. I noticed it on my 2500. I thought the different rear springs might have alleviated it somewhat.

I think that's the new cushy suspension they came out with the new body in 2010. Trying to sell trucks and pass Ford / GM on the creature comforts. I bet there are things you can do (better shocks, suspension additions) that will stiffen it up.

Shock upgrade.

The shocks were mush on my '07 5. 9 also. Designed to get you to sign on the line. Consider some Bilstein 5000's. They should do it.

Yea Ive heard bout the bilsteins... However, I dont believe I should have to pay for something that my 2005 3500 came standard with. 50k+ for a truck, they got some responsibility...

gonna have a talk with the service guy at my dealer. . wish me luck lol
