Due to a bear having his way with my truck........I got a new bedside, tailgate and paint! For you guys that don’t do body or paint repairs, it sucks! Was way more work than I anticipated. Results were good.
Don, it really looks good and yes the bodywork part can be a time consuming job but the most important for the finished product. If anyone would want to go thru this checkout Eastwood as they have a high fill catalyst primer I believe is called Feather Fill. It definately helps the primer stage/block sanding alot faster. What manufacturer and type of paint did you use ?.
Dave
Normal paint job: 2 hours to paint after 2 weeks to prep.
What did you use to make your paint lines straight? Did you spray silver, then mask that, spray red, and clear it all at once? Or what was the method? I have my truck in the booth stripping it down and preparing for bedliner underneath and in bed, then repaint in Intense Blue with a possible silver rocker accent. Thanks for any help you can give me.View attachment 101367
