Finally Did It!

My Daily Driver 12 valve has retired from daily duty. Here's my replacement, a 2014 RT Challenger. It's been 18 years since I bought my last new car. My wife's had a few over the years. My truck will be used for pulling the fifth wheel and other truck needs. Funny thing, the day after I bought the car, I moved the truck and the brake pedal went to the floor, it must be upset with me Oh well, I'll get it fixed soon, anyway, I have already gone through a full tank of fuel, it's a lot of fun to drive.

I was just at my local hydraulics shop this afternoon. The owner brought me out back to see his new ride. 2014 Challenger RT. It's deep purple with the flat black ghost stripes. It's BEAUTIFUL! And he loves it. Best wishes.

Thanks all, it's been a blast to drive so far. I don't need any speeding tickets either. If anyone is looking for a Challenger (or Charger) I highly recommend the Super Track Pack or the Blacktop Edition. The Blacktop contains the STP but adds more such as the black stripes and black wheels. It handles great. The non STP cars have a softer suspension and don't handle as well, too floaty IMHO. That Plum Crazy Purple is a cool color but too flashy for me. I was after either Jazz Blue or Silver. Blue would have matched my truck better but the only one optioned the way I wanted here in SoCal had Radar Red Seats. I ended up at a different dealer and got better numbers and a lifetime warranty from Chrysler on the Silver one. I love the Vanishing Point movie as well but I didn't want white.

I had a 2010 with automatic. You did well getting the 6 speed. They are MUCH more fun to drive!!!
