Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Finally ended a long weekend!!!

Well it all started about 7:00 friday evening with my cousin calling from Ann Arbor Michigan to bring the trailor to pick up his truck (7. 3 Powerstroke) with a blown turbo. I make it up there about 11:30, and after about 3 hours of getting the truck loaded we are on our way back to Huntington, Indiana. We made it to about Jackson Michigan, when bang all the gears including park are gone in my truck (see sig). Get the truck towed to Extreme Dodge in Jackson. At this point my dad is on his way with his 06 cummins to get my cousins truck. We got home yesterday about 1:30 in the afternoon, and went back this morning for my truck.



I guess tomorrow I need to start making calls to either get the transmission fixed or a built transmission on the way. My guess is I broke the input shaft, but we will see.

Quick Update!

Turns out I sheared all the splines off the input shaft going into the transmission. They said the transmission was still in good shape. So I am probably going to put a new shaft and drum in, and save my pennies for a new transmission. Just thought I would let you know!
