Thought I would share what I discovered when looking for my water leak. I have had the truck fot 3 months and known about the water leak into the passenger floorboard for about 2 months now. I replaced my 3rd brake light gasket and still had the leak. Removed the Rt. front kickpanel and used the water hose to try to find the leak. It turns out that water was dripping in through the upper door hinge. Just aft of the door hinge, there was a tiny 1/32 in hole in the A-pillar where the door hinge is mounted. I was able to blow compressed air through the hole. The drivers side was sealed, but not the passenger side. Sealed it up with butyl rubber sealant and no more leaks. Hope this helps some other members to find their leaks.

Welcome to the TDR!

That's a new leak that I've never heard about before. Excellent find!

In the rain, I've seen both of my trucks dripping from darn near the same place - it's probably the 3rd brake / cargo light on both of 'em.

how does the water get from the third brake light to the fron pass floor board

I was going to check all my cab clearance lights, but now havr to look for this

little hole. thanks Bill

The rear floor is raised up a little so there are what amounts to drain gutters on both sides. The water runs down the back into the low places and runs to the front. So the first place you notice it is when the floor in front gets wet.

Shawn, could you post a pic of the area you're talking about? I am still working on find the rest of the leaks in my truck... Thanks.
