I have had problems for months. I finally spent the 178. 00 for a new TPS. It worked ok for a day or two. Then started to search for overdrive and t. c. lockup. The trans temp lite has come on and off for months. I got one yesterday a put it in. That did it !!!! Shifts like new. I think I will keep it . Thanks to the last issue of TDR in the tech topics. Made me think that little lite was related to my problem . Larry.

Were you by chance having problems getting it to shift into overdrive at Wide Open Throttle?

It would not shift into O. D. unless I used my mystery switch and lock the torque converter. Then it would take 4 or 5 seconds to shift then. Now I don't even need the mystery switch. I only put it in for emergencies when it kept locking and unlocking. I have had a few bad TPS's in the past. Larry.
