Hey guys--

6 month search is over. Finally found my truck.

Its a 1996 Dodge clubcab 4x4 White/Driftwood 5spd 12v loaded with 165k orig miles and its in good shape. Its also bone stock with a clean warranty record. I got it for 9k cash. I think i got a killer deal from the second owner as blue book on the truck is around 11,500 and you know CTD's always bring in a premium.

If you want to check it out, its here---http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=31831&item=2477047700&rd=1

My first question is, I want about 350-400 rwhp... Should i pick up a set of 370 marine injectors, or go with something different. I plan on later getting a fuel plate, intake, 4inch exhaust, and 4k kit, and dv's... Am i in the right direction with my thinking?

Thanks guys for all the good Q&A's during my search for a truck, Now i feel at home Oo.

Congrats! You may wanna plan a clutch in the near bombing future. Glad you finally made it OFFICIALLY into the club.

(BTW the link didn't work)

Congrats on your new baby. I've had mine for 7 months now and I am still in love. My advice would be to find a great diesel mechanic, install EGT, and Boost for a minimum. Fill out your sig so we can assist you more. If you copy and paste the link into your internet browser you can get the site to come up. You have an awesome looking truck and I know you will be happy with it.

Welcome and congrats on the "new" truck.

Even better looking price! :D

Just worried about the vacuum system and recall 720. .

according to the owner the only prob with the truck is a steering box leak

Don't waste the money on DV's. With your pump they are not needed.

3K govermor springs, no plate, 4" exhaust, and 370's will put you over 400 HP. But the stock clutch won't take that much.

. . PT. .

I finally found the source of my vacuum leak. It's the boot that plugs into the top of the transfer case. The vacuum leak also caused surging with the brakes when wet outside. I also used small zip ties at every vacuum connection.
