Finally Got My New Rig...What You Think?

I had it all apart within the first 24hrs... I just can't leave well enough alone! :-laf :-laf

I installed the SRT10 hood, lifted the front 2" & I've built a set of custom 19. 5" wheels for it that I'll install tomorrow. I just painted them on Friday & wanted to let the paint dry until Monday.

The SRT10 hood is functional. It doesn't open & close... it's always open.

I guess a guy could make a winter cover for it but I haven't owned it long enough to get that far!

I still miss the old First Gen Ryan... this one's Purdy but she's a guttless big thing!

I guess what I've done is trade in a big powerhouse for a warm rear end with the heated seats & all. :-laf

White is the color of choice down here. Not quite as purdy as midnight blue, but cooler to the skin.

Yes, but white trucks rust three times as fast as black trucks. A black truck can go fifty years without rust.

John, I wanted white but the wife wouldn't let me!

I was set on a Sport & they only come in Black, Red, White or Silver if you're ordering a DRW. I liked white but the boss said it looked like a big refrigerator! Oo.

Black has always been my favorite but having owned a black truck before, I figured white would be so much easier to look after.

Silver is great too but too many of them around here.

Red looks great but a bit loud for me.

They're all nice!

Awesome looking truck! I really like the way the duallys trucks look! You also mentioned that the SRT10 hood was functional. Does it channel the air directly on to the intake? Or is it back where the Hemi intake is?

Great looking truck. With all these mods, you know you need to add Clear Cab Roof Lights to that baby. Those amber warts are u-g-l-y-. What gears did you go with?

As for the scoop, I do think it matches up with the intake of the V10 but I'm not all that sure. It would take a bit of work to get it to channel the air to the air box on our trucks, and I remember reading that it doesn't channel much air to begin with, it's opening is in a bad spot. It does help keep the under hood temps lower.

The hood I have, is functional and does channel the air flow right to the Air Intake.
