The dealer delivered on June 1st, about a two month wait. No hassel with paperwork, looked over the truck compared with the factory order sheet, all was as ordered. Only complaint was ordered manual shift for transfer case, and it came with electric shift feature. Prefer the manual, but I have not heard too much about the electric shift having problems. OK. No cord for the block heater, so I am going to have to call the dealer and have one sent out. Would like to have a spare key (third) thrown in as well.

Love the truck, drive is awesome as with the power, only 240 miles now, I have not towed the trailer yet, wait for a few more miles. Will check out the exhaust brake as well.

Checked all the fliud levels on arrival, the transfer case needed about a quart of +4 ATF to bring the level up and just below the fill port. All other levels were on spot.

Need to install the guages yet, need some advise on the placement of the pyro in the exhaust manifold on the 6. 7L engine.

Shifting the G56 is a little stiff, but to be expected with it being new. Can only get better with use. Otherwise very happy with the trans. My other Dodge was the same way when it was new as well, now smooth and positive at 154,345 miles and still going.

Very pleased with the truck overall!

I will have pics as soon as I can install them.

Thanks for sharing - it will be interesting to compare the auto with the G56 trans on mpg. Surprised that the transfer was a quart low.

I'm having Dishman Dodge install my gauges this coming week before I pick it up. I can take a picture and forward it to as a reference.

Thanks BBeck! And to all for the great writes/ info.

Truck runs great made a few changes, fuel feed lines and fittings, added 2" leveling kit, changed the oil/fuel filters and oil at 256 miles.

Fuel supply line between filter and the pump are only . 145" ID fittings (Duncan QD). Added some fittings and fuel now . 500" little large but functional. Supply side of the filter is now . 375" at the filter inlet instead of the small factory bango and metal fittings.

Fuel pressure is 9 PSI idle, 6 PSI WOT, empty, no load or towing. ????

May have to install a better pump here soon.

Aleast the hesitation has gone away at rapid acceleration, reason for the fuel filter change at first.

EGT's pre-turbo 800-850 goes to 1000 for about 3-4 minutes and returns to 800 or so, has been up to 1200 after long idle times checking for leaks, for about 5 minutes.

Not many miles yet, 493, will have to start driving it to work now, for the rest of the break-in. 120 miles round trip to work each day, won't be long.

The wife hassed the tires going into Forth, couldn't believe it. She was suprised as much as I was.

Very happy with the truck overall, not the DOC/DPF, no trouble but I can see it coming from what I have been reading.
