Finally Ordered It!!

Well I finally did it!! Ordered my first brand new truck from the dealer!!



2007 3500 Laramie Quad Cab 4x4, 5. 9L, 6-spd, 3. 73's,SRW, Inferno Red

Options:

2BH Option Package, plus, UConnect, Tow Package, Tow Mirrors, Sunroof, Protection Group, Hood Protection Shield, Block Heater, Anti-Spin Diff. , Clearance Lamps, DVD GPS Navigation 6-CD Changer.



Now the tough part. Waiting 6-weeks :{



If anybody has any comments on the 07's please let me know. Also does this truck have the emissions on it. I am at the understanding that it does not because of the build date. Also is anybody making power upgrades and all of the other goodies that we all love for the 07's yet???



Sorry for all of the questions at once but I am so excited for the new rig to get here I almost can't sit still!!!

no 5. 9 will have emissions. The 6. 7's in the chassis cab built prior to jan 1 07 will not have Nox scrubbers, but i looks like they will still have EGR.

I ordered mine 3 weeks ago yesterday very similar options as yours. The status is sitting at BX for last 2 weeks. I am figuring a Nov. delivery now. I was hoping late Oct. but no such luck.

Check the FAQ for 3rd Gen. There is links to the procedure to check status. Ignore where is says that it has been discontinued, I called and got status this morning.

Not if it has a build date before 01-01-2007. Before that date they are the same as '06's.

Sounds like I won't have the emissions and also won't have to run the

ULSD. I think I am right in guessing this? Seems I am getting conflicting information so I may just have to wait and see. If anyone knows for SURE that would be a huge help for my mind. I am not trying to start any debates just want to know for sure. Oo.

It's "no deal" if my '07 shows up without the 5. 9 in '06 emission trim. Went into build as 5. 9. Due in couple weeks. Dealer gaurentee's it'll be 5. 9. Hope this helps.
