Got the counter shaft in and end setup . Debating ordering a new bearing or use the old one . Torque queen managed to ruin one in shipping

No way I would reinstall a used bearing. They are the cheapest part of a rebuild, and a failed bearing is going to cause mucho $$$$ damage. Not hard to find them from a bearing supplier.

I was going to order parts for my NV4500 from Torque King. Are they really Torque Queer instead? Or just Neanderthals between them and you?

well they managed to ruin this bearing and shafts came with teeth that looked like they got dropped on the concrete from Montana to my house . Do what you want but I wouldn’t buy anything from them . I find it funny right on their website in several places they state rough handling of bearings causes failure . Then they send me this and won’t do anything about it

Just ordered the bearing from Napa for cheaper than online stores and no shipping .

Who do you think was responsible for the damage? Shipper? Or do you think they were damaged already going out the door of Torque King? Who was the shipper? Thanks!

Packing it properly- everything must be packed in a way that it can be abused as a football without taking damage.
As a shipper you have always to expect the worst possible.

I won’t tell you not to buy there, but I will tell you don’t be surprised if you have a problem and they won’t do anything about it. I’ve built a lot of transmissions with Parts from Allstate gear As well trans parts warehouse

Looks like Allstate would cost me a couple hundred less to rebuild my NV4500 vs Torque King. Are their parts good enough quality? I am just about to order parts for mine. Was going to do it weeks ago but got sidetracked by a failed Suburban 6L80 trans. Grrrrrrr!!.

I’ve had good luck with all states parts I think that torque king I’d probably higher quality in the end biggest reason I went to torque king was because they are close and shopping is faster . I would recommend whatever you do to get the fifth gear nut from all states gear it’s called the super nut and it works I would also suggest you get the manual from torque king snd also there fifth gear tightening set you can see in my Kade photo
