Morning everyone, since i cant sleep any longer today i figured i'd throw this up
I'm finally getting around to doing my cab/bed swap and alot of general and preventative maintenance. here is also a list of stuff being done hopefully the majority while its apart so i don't have to do it again,
-4" lift for the front and around 2 out back ( quite possibly more to eliminate the block)
-stripping the frame and hopefully a good etching primer, under coat and a satin base clear for the extra protection, any suggestions on this?
-New shocks on all 4 corners
-going through all the wiring under the truck and a good thourough look through the under hood also, also setting up the relays for the headlights and for towing lights
-full 4" exhaust from turbo back and hopefully i can do duels like i want i already have a very good idea but it will come with time, i'm going to find out monday what it will cost for some stainless(hopefully) i just remeber it was quite pricey last i checked
-A PS intercooler and Cooler Tubz still need to get the intercooler but have the tubes
- I'll also be swapping rear ends, the '93 has a LS and only 70K on it so it will do for a lil while
- The front axel was rebuilt with a detroit a year and a half ago so it will stay put minus the springs
well that's what i can think of for now but i'm sure i can think of more i'll get some disassembly pics up real soon, for those that don't know i have a '92 W250 w/over 320k and the cab/bed doner is a '93 D250 w/70k on it its beautiful. the motor will stay from the '92 the trans in the W250 has no reverse so for now i'm going to put the 2wd trans in there while i build my new 47rh:-laf and reseal the 205. sorry for such a long post, and can u believe i just got up 10 min ago, geez time to go back to bed, have a great holiday weekend every one and I'll get some pics up so u can see how nice the new cab/bed is
