I finally bought a Car Trailer. I picked up a new Roadrunner 18' dovetail 7000# with ramps for $1750. 00 . I am going to bring it home Friday. I am thinking this is about average for a price?
Sounds about right. If it has brakes on both axles, the breakaway kit, and good quality tires then you didn't do bad at all. Make sure you check the lug nuts after about 20 miles of pulling the first time and adjust the hitch for a good tight fit to your ball assembly.
Have fun, be safe, and enjoy. A trailer is handier than a shirt pocket at times.
It has been one of my wants for years, I do need one for hauling building supplys up to my property, and of course my hobby of rebuilding cars requires one. It does have brakes and breakaway. I am going to install a winch and treat the floor as soon as I get it home.
