Yes, the dealer makes a small amount from the financing when you finance through them. The lending institution gives the dealer a break on the rate and they mark it up slightly, just like pearts. That is a bit over-simplified, but that is basically how it works. The zero percent deals are all factory though, and they are tough to beat. For your best deal, have your money arrangements taken care of before you shop, and then make the best deal you can with the dealer of your choice witout saying how you are going to pay. No need to be dishonest, but being a little shrewd will net you the best deal.

I was thinking of putting balance on home line of credit,its around 4 %or I would see what I could get from dealer if I use there credit. Mike
