I finaly got my fuel issues (Installled an Air Dog) and boost leaks fixed. Now I want to do some fine tunning. The quetion is what should I be looking for (besides the obvious, harder excelleration). Id like the turbo to spool a little quicker and it still appears to not completly clear up at approx 40# boost. Should I back the plate down until it clears up and then work on the bottom end? Or does it matter?

Thanks

Jeremy

If by clearing up, you meant no smoke, I think the position of your plate may be a little too far forward. It does not take much, especially with the 370 injectors, which are know for the ability to smoke.

What has been the benefit of your Water-Meth injection, and about what did it cost?

Still heavy grey smoke and 1500 degree temps in the passing lane. Water made about 100 degree difference. Sill gets hot though. Seams like Im loosing low end every time I move the plate back. Slower to spool from 5# to 15# than it was before.

Whats your timing at? You want around 16°

Definitely want to move the plate back at least until some of the smoke clears up. Then I`d adjust the star wheel for low fueling, to get the turbo spooled.

Ever thought about a #100 plate? Its a #10 with the top moon half ground flat. I custom ground mine, I love it. Lots of power and no smoke. But I dont have 370s either tho. .

good luck

Timming is at 16 degrees. Installed a new overflow valve today. I'll try moving the plate back a little more and playing with the star wheel. Just seams low on power.
