Cummins Add on pulleys

Yes, after 13 months I'm finally driving my truck with Cummins power. I've only had the truck on the road for a little over a week now, and so far it is a blast to drive. There are a couple of minor details that need attention but other than that everything works great. For a complete pictorial of the conversion process check out my webshots page.

Nice lookin rig, can't wait to have the same feeling of driving a repower project after the work is done!

Nice detail on yoru conversion. I like the Ford Blue Valve covers, turbo and intake inlet tubes. Works well with the Ford Ford.

I'm impressed with your completeness - exceelent work.

Exhaust

Looks like you went with 4" exhaust. Did you fab it or combine kit parts? I'm trying to figure out what to do on my Excursion 12 valve project.

Thanks,

Matt

How's that engine holding up?

I put a Cummins in a Chevy, and even with the truck running, occasionally, I'd get a fella asking me how that chevy diesel is holding up for me? Oh, good... I quit explaining anything about the conversion, because they would want me to raise the hood and show it, and I'd normally get a comment like "was that pretty easy to put in there. . ? Will it still run on regular.

I will only raise the hood for an enthusiast who hears it and knows that it isn't what should be there and can appreciate that fitting a size 12 foot in a size 9 shoe is a real task. But the first year of the conversion put some wear on the hood hinges... ;)

Great rig! I love the look of the ford, but unfortunatly it only comes with a powerstroke. I am interested in installing a cummins into my ford as well, any help you could give me would be appreciated, where to get a cummins, parts, and expertise etc.

Good job. Expect to spend more time when you stop to get fuel. I get asked about mine probably 1 out of 3 times.
