What was the State Trooper doing at this mans home?Was he wanted for some crime?By god,if he tryed to take my weapon without a warrant,he would take it bullet first. If he obtained a warrant and did it properly,I would have to surrender it. Something is fishy.

Once they start getting the serial numbers of your guns in the computers it's the beginning of the end. That's why the liberals keep trying to stop private sales without going through a background check. No record, no ability to confiscate.

CF the crime is that he forgot to re-register the firearm, and renew his Illinois FOID. It's just really an excuse to go after a firearm owner.



I dunno. I kind of think there might be someone dangerous to go after in Illinois, like a rapist, or a bank robber.



If anyone out there purchased more than one handgun within a week, youre on the list!!

CT has a new law now where ANYONE can call the police and say "They dont feel you are of sound mind" and the police can LEGALLY come to your house and confiscate your weapons. Then you have to go to court and prove you are NOT nuts and you have to dispute the charges, at your own expense obviously. If you lose, kiss your guns goodbye

I guess I'm not on FOIDs list then. All my weapons were bought one at a time over many years. It won't take long for someone to come to go hacky suey over someone coming for their guns. Of course he or she will be called a looney and portrayed as a militant when it happens.
