I don't like the idea just standing in my shop, I bolt down for MY safety, I would be dead if falls over on me.

You’re a LOT stronger than me and work with big insane weights if you can knock over a 1400lb floor vice.

I was thinking the same thing but since I don't actually know how strong HPSimpson is and what he works on I decided to keep my mouth shut for MY safety !!! JK/LOL !!!

All that said, I am fairly sure that no one is going to need to bolt that sucker down to keep it from tipping over, EXCEPT PERHAPS its builder Jason ... who obviously DOES tend to work on LARGE and HEAVY things!

I have Detroit Diesel 16V92 Have the head off so I really need something pretty solid
currently using two metal tables, there bolt to floor so that I can clean the head up. Block is beginning machine and just trying to stay ahead.
