Firestik firefly cb antenna installed and it howls?

I just mounted my new firestik firefly 3' CB antenna using the specific Dodge underhood/fendor mount on the drivers side of my truck yesterday. The first thing I notice when driving now is that it whistles or howls in the wind when driving. Very noticable in the cab I guess I need to find a different place to mount it if I don't want to listen to this howling every day.



Anyone else experience this?

I use to have mine mounted there, did the samething.

Yep, same here...

I moved mine to the next bolt toward the front of the truck and no more whistle.
