I traded my 2000 in with the airbags and need to up the suspension. Will the firestones bolt right in with no drilling? Or what is everybody using on the 03's?

Not sure if the Firestones will bolt right up the best price I found for super duty AirLift bags was from Jeg's ($201. 99) with free shipping and no sales tax. Jim

No way to avoid the drilling, both AirLift and Firestone mount the same way. Jeggs or Summit both have good prices, free shipping.

They bolt on. Take off the rubber "V" that keeps the axle from hitting the frame and the top mount bolts into the same hole. Bottom uses "U" bolts around axle. About $200.

For you guys that have mounted the air lift super dutys I have a question. I called tech at airlift and asked if I could use the bags to give my 3500 a 2" rake. I never did get a definitive answer. My truck is just to level and I would like a little rake.

What does the 3500 drive like with the units pumped up and

and not much load ? Thanks RJ

Jeggs, or Summit

Where does a person find Jeggs, or Summit?

Around here they want about $100. 00 more than what you guys are talking, (for the air bags). :( :confused: :{

Firestone Air Bags

I ordered Firestone Helper Springs from Summit Racing.com. I paid 209. 95 + 8. 45 for shipping and handling to my home in Arlington, TX. I mailed my personal check to an address in Akron, Ohio on the 12th of December and the the bags were shipped on the 16th of December. The price I found at the local pickup supply was 250. 00 plus 7. 50% sales tax. I decided to order from Summit Racing and have them delivered to my home. Part # FIP 2299 for the 03 and 04 Dodge Ram 25000. Hope this helps

I ordered mine from Jeg's today. I talked to tech support and they told me no drilling needed. stock number 57280. cost 201. 99. I also elected to go for the compressor with the single guage. stock number 25592 cost 101. 99. This way i can monitor the pressure and can add or release pressure from the cab. Sounds cool to me!

FWIW- I went with the dual gauge so I could monitor tank pressure as well as inflate/deflate from the cab. :cool:
