Well my 2004 3500 gave up it's trans last week at 35,000 miles, first gear is history. I took it to Dodge in Van Nuys California and Mike the service manager got a trans mech to go for a ride with me and at first we thought that it was the sensor for first gear but since there was'nt a check engine light the only way to really know was to open the trans up and check it out. now I have know'en these guy's at Dodge down in Van Nuys ( Valley Dodge) for years and I totally trust them plus they give better service then the dealership here in Valencia (power dodge is a joke), well Mike told me not to worry that it would cost me $0 dollars ,yes that's $0 dollars of course I have the extended warranty that cost me around $1900. but I will never own a vehicle that is darn near new without one. this go's to show what a good dealership along with haveing a personal relationship with the personal at the dealership mean's when trouble incure's. I thought I would be buying a DTT or ATS trans last week but when I talked to Mike he told me that the other tran's would blow my warranty and to just keep useing the warranty as long as possible or intill my 100,000 mile's pass so I guess I won't be buying a aftermarket tran's for a few year's. Anyway that's my rant. :{
