First Gen power seats

After reading Robert Patton's story about putting a new seat in his fourth gen I thought I would share my seat upgrade with you. I got a pair of power seats out of an 05 Pacifica at a local junk yard with a little work i got both of them installed in the truck in afternoon. I did have to get new switchs for the power motors the factory ones are mounted on the door and can't be used. Till all was said and done i spent about 250 dollars for both seats the switchs and the 10ga. wire to hook them up with.

I had tried a few different newer seats in my 1990 but sadly due to being a regular cab it did not work.

They are very comfortable, I think some of the best money I spent on the truck. As for seats in a regular cab I have 76 W100 with low backs out of a 92 ford crown Vic, they take a lot more work to install but they are nice to sit in. Sorry no pics of it the truck is pulled a part for paint.

Nice truck. I noticed your A pillar gages, did you fabricate the housing yourself?

No I got them from Auto Meter, the pillar pod is really single and a two mounted on top of each other.
