First Gen. Tail light lens

I have accidentally messed up this post by Bob Fulgham.

He was posting the fact that there are 1st gen tailights for sale on E-Bay but thought that they might be the lens only.

Sorry for the malfunction Bob, it's my first one so far...

Taillight lens

sorry about getting this in the wrong forum. The post was as follows.

New 81 to 93 Dodge pickup tailights on E-bay, Item # 1874072423. Advertised as taillights but appears to be lens only.

It looks like you get the lenses and the chromed housings around them, no bulbs, seeing as how the bulb harnesses are part of the truck.

$57 seems a bit high. I can go down to one of the local "grave-yards" and pick up a good pair of lenses for probably half that price, if not less, and they would be actual Dodge make, not some aftermarket. Oh well, whatever floats yer' boat I guess.

I'd have to go along with getting a real Dodge part on this one.



The non-Dodge thing I bought shed all the chrome in two years and never did fit right. A real POS.



Since the other side was original and in great shape and I couldn't find one to match it in a yard, I had to pay the stealer. But it does look nice.

Hey Guys if those are the same Tail light lens with crome trim that I have bought off e-bay, they are a nice unit ! I think I spent $65 for the pair and they are complete. As for them coming with wiring harness, they don't.
