I've replaced the fuel filter and lift pump on my truck it starts and when I touch the throttle it boggers down and almost dies

Check to see if you have a cracked fuel line sucking air ?

Did you pump the system up after the install ? If not stroke that lever 20-25 times and see if that fixes things ! Oh, welcome to the site, fill out your sig so we know what u have !!

Did you bleed the air from the system ? and look inside the new filter before installing it ? as ive found plastic wrap inside of fuel filters before

vance, I've got the same thing going on, but only if it sits for a few days w/o starting. If I'm driving daily, no issues. I think it's a small air leak in the fuel line that allows air to enter the system slowly. It starts fine, but then after a few seconds, it will slowly die. A couple times I was able to keep it running by giving it throttle, but when it completely died, it wouldn't restart until I bled air from the system (injectors). I plan to replace the fuel supply line soon. good luck with yours
