i know this is is the absolute wrong section but i'm getting no help down in the first gen section.
noticed somthing hanging from under my 1993 the other day. turns out to be the speedo sender. looks half mechancial and half eletric. i screwed it back up in its original location but now i have no speedo and no overdrive. i'm wondering if the shaft snapped off in the transmission. there is a shaft on the sender but it looks a bit short. any of you old first genners have any experiance with this unit? driving aroung a 2000rpm doing maybe 35mph is getting old real quick! good thing i dont have to go very far!
