First Missouri Meeting

Well we had our first meeting and it was kinda of a flop. We had 4 trucks and there was supposed to be about 12. If there is anyone else from Missouri please e-mail me so I can plan another event and try and get some more people involved.

Phil,

Don't look at it as a flop because you did have four enthusiastic Rammers there. Some schedules just don't work out for everyone; it is quite possible that coincidence and not lack of interest sidelined the other eight guys/gals. If you look at the Houston meeting #2 thread, you will see what I'm talking about. Had the 3rd Sunday of the month been regular meeting day, we would have had a lot of people out.

I'm going to try and spread the word more. To bad there are not alot of people on the TDR from Missouri. We are going to start meeting the second Sunday of every month at 7:00, so that way people will always know ahead of time.

Phil;I haven't forgotten about the invite,I'm just waiting for an all day thing like the Great Lakes club did on a weekend. I'll drive down from the St. Louis area the Night before and spend the day getting deaf to the roar of diesels. It'll be real easy in the summer since I'm off. Sagwagon

When we get a good group formed we might have to do that. It's kinda hard to do with just 4 guys. We could have a BOMB FEST day or an exhaust brake day and add all kinds of mods. #ad

I'm trying. I put out about 30 flyers and have been spreading the word the best I can. I made up about 70 more today to hand out, surely a few will be interested. I got a couple of cattle shows I'm getting ready to go to and I will spread the word to a few of my fellow cattlemen. Bad thing is most from around here drive those dreaded Phords. I guess the can come and see what a real truck is like. #ad

One of the guys who came to the first meeting told me tonight he has a big shop with a pit and that we could do something there. Didn't take me long to say great!!!!! I just have wait til about next month or so and I will have a little more time to get something organized. This is great and thanks to you guys for your comments, ideas, and support. #ad
