First real tow since i got the cummins!

last weekend was my first real tow since i bought my cummins in Sept of last year. I'd had some small loads behind it, (4 wheelers and such) but nothing more than that. Saturday had to make a 200 mile trip to the northern part of the state to pick up the brother-in-laws 96 Z71 extended cab. Hauled it back on an 18 foot flatbed bumper pull. Was a much more enjoyable trip than with my old 86 3/4 ton i had previously. Went across the scales when i got back home and my gross weight was 14,960. Forgot i was pulling a trailer a couple of times. Set the cruise at 70 and enjoyed the ride.

You should have put something in the bed of the Z71. Then you would have had even more weight. Glad you had fun.
