I made my first rode trip with the Juice/attitude installed and I found out that I CAN NOT run in any setting higher then Level 2 (40hp) even at Level 2 (40hp) I get at much as 6% slipping on the trans. Is this normal. .

On a two lane highway passing cars with the Torque Converter Locked, doing around 75mph, and I put it to the floor to go around and It shows that it's slipping and It will slip from . 5 to as much as a 3. the highest the records shows was 6% and thats in Level 2. It slipped to a lot higher number in level 3 so I just keep it in level 2...

I had a 03 with a EZ on Level 6 for 30k miles and I never seemed to have a problem unless it was slipping the whole time and didn't know it.

Any suggestions.

cummins-man,

Are you just looking at the Attitude and seeing the slip %, or are you feeling the trans/tc slip? I have seen a lot of posts that say the Attitude reports slipage, may be this is a little misleading. Maybe it is seeing normal fluid cuppleing power loss. Mine also shows 5% slip, from just normal driving. Since my Attitude does not monitor the trans lockup or slip correctly, I dont pay any attention to it. I have over 22000 miles on the truck and am pretty confident that my SOTP meter knows when it slips. This weekend I did some playing with my HOT Juice/Attitude. I can not really make it slip on 40hp or 60hp or 80hp settings. On 100hp and 180hp I can feel a little slipage at Lockup. I don't do any hard driving on the 100hp or 180hp yet, but unless your trans/tc are already going bad, I think the stock 48re will hold up to 60hp and maybe 80hp power increase with no problems.

I've read that there's a problem with the module after reprogramming the pinion factor for bigger tires.

Might that be a factor?

I just got off the phone with MY friendly Service deptment and they said to

shut that setting off and pay attention to the SOTP meter. He doesn't understand how you can monitor slipping. He told me to drive it like I stole it

and decide from there. So I'll do just that. He told me if there's something wrong with it then there was something wrong from the factory.

so time will tell.

I finally decided who, what and when I am doing for the TC/Trans upgrades. This will be probably 6 weeks out. It seems that this decision has already infected my right foot. I have been a little more aggressive on the 100hp level, and even some real acceleration on the 180hp setting. Jumping into the throttle at about 55mph on the 180hp setting did hesitate slightly and then kinda jump to 90mph before I was ready. If it slipped when I did this, I don't know, to focused on hanging on.
