First Run After Mods

Hi Everyone,



Last Week Had The Truck In For Some Mods Had A New Bd 3 1/2 Exhust Put On, Valves Adj. ,mild Pump Tweek And Timing. We Went On A Little Trip Past Weekend With The 11 1/2 Foot Slide In Cab Over Camber ,(around 3500-4500 Lbs), We Travled At Or Around 60 70 Mph Climbing For 250 Miles From 2800 Feet To 7200 Feet Elev. The Truck Had Plenty Of Power Ran Cool Egt At Times Around 1100. The Fuel Mpg Was At 10, On The Return Trip We Had 40 50 Mph Head Wind The Whole Way And Got 9-9. 5 On The Return Trip.



This Is My First Truck With A Camper On It And Want To Know If My Mpg Is Good, Bad, Or Avarage.

Don't know how trucks compares but, ran from Gillete Wyoming to Salt Lake City UT fighting headwinds and storms with a gross of 13k and change. Running at 75+ most of the time and averaged 10. 5 to 11 mpg.



Thought that was a little low. Had a lot more fuel than I needed so I think it should be better now.



Accelerating out of construction zones with the TC locked tended to blot out the road behind me.
