First tank of Bio

I just topped off my tank with biodiesel at (15 gallons to make a b50 mixture) So far I've driven 2. 5 mile and no problems. Going to pick up more WVO this week to work on another batch. Will report again after some more driving. So far I haven't notice any difference, but again I've only gone 2. 5 miles

55 miles interstate driving this morning and she runs like a top. I noticed no loss of power and a pleasant smell of fried foods. The temperature was about 50 degrees when I left out. Crurious what she'll do with colder temps.

Your making it with the transesterfication process, right?



If so, you will have a good fuel with few problems. Those will be cold weather related.

Yup. I've made myself an appleseed processor per Girl Marks plans (for the most part) using a combination of mist and bubble wash. The first batch worked out nicely. I have the setup in my greenhouse which I'm not using for anything now (tobacco buyout, never want to touch another stalk).

I can get the temp. up to 90 - 100 on a good still sunny day. Great for drying the fuel. I'm now starting my second batch.
