First timer

I'm a first timer. Bought my 99 3500 4x4 in Dec. 2001. I love it. It pulls my 30' 5ver with no problem. It sure beats my crew cab Chevy I traded in.



I probably won't be a big bomber (only time will tell). Although it sounds great, I'm a little worried about dependability.



I did take my muffler off this week. Sounds great. Has anyone else noticed if you got more MPG after taking the muffler off? It seems like mine picked up 2 MPG. It may just be a fluke. I don't know.



Anyway, great site. Great information. I've been reading ever since I bought the truck but just now joined. Looking forward to that 1st issue of TDR.

Welcome. Bravo on your ride selection. As far as bombing goes, its all up to you, and Shove is right, once your bit... ... oh how the venom spreads. I have learned to use my antidote (common sense) to keep it under control prior to going for ... ... going broke. Alot of great folks here in the mbrshp to get the info you need... ... hope to see you back
