First tow with 600

Had my first tow with the new 600. Got about 150 miles into a 300 mile trip. with a 25' Grady White behind me when truck started missing badly. Nursed it into the closest Dodge dealer. It showed no errors but sounded like it was running on 5 cylinders. Needles to say, i was extremly disappointed. Dealer worked on it that afternoon and all day Friday. They have no idea what happened to it. Dodge service rep is to look at today. My dealer brought me a 2003 Dually to continue my trip. I havent heard yet today if they have determined the problem. I will let you know.

well atleast you have a dealer who will take care of you. That's really cool of them to loan you a truck for the rest of your trip. I 've had dealers that just told me tough luck s*** happens. Hope it gets resolved quickly

No, I have not. They think it is # 2 injector. I have not heard what progress is today. I will post when I know something.

What is the date of manufacture? Is it a January truck? Just trying to get some information from what I have been reading.

Build date was 2/. 28/2004. It was delivered to me on 3/31/2004

Built on the same day as mine. I guess its luckof the draw. Good luck with the repair.

Mine was built 3 days before yours, and delivered on 3/22.

OK guys, here's the deal. Evidently # 2 injector failed, causing the miss. They have it fixed now and I am going to pick it up tomorrow am. I will have to say that my dealer( Abernethy Dodge in Lincolnton, NC) and Morgan Dodge in Durham, NC were excellent to deal with in this whole matter, my hats off to them both. They gave me a 2003 3500 dually auto to drive while mine was out so I got a nice little comparison test drive. Sorry guys that six speed kicks a$$. I am really just kidden but I thought I would get it stirred up a bit. Lookig forward to having my truck back.
