First towing trip with the Juce=Wow!!

Just got back from the first towing trip with the Edge Juce. This is the way these trucks should be from the factory! Dropped EGTs,more power in the useable RPM range. Did I mention more power? The smoothness of it is stunning. The 1st tank is about 1mpg better (hand checked weighing about 19,500#) that is the main reason for buying the box. I will be keepingtabs on MPG as that is #1 on the list I was after. So far I am VERY IMPRESSED!! Oo.

What level were you running that gave the mpg improvment?

On the way out and most of the way back I ran on level 1. Seemed to do very well towing and the milage seemed to be up (gonna have to run 5-6 tanks to know). Ran level 2 part of the way up I-5 and never had to touch the shift lever, although there are no real hills on that strech. At 19,500# it would have pulled Vantage (comes out of the Columbia river gorge,10 miles of a hard pull) at 75mph+ if that was legal!! :-laf

EGT'S ,baseline/ stock and at different levels /scenarios.

Sounds good from what you describe , also any changes in water temp ?

Considering the same for my 05'.

Could not detect any change in water temps. However by the capacity of the cooling system I would doubt there would be any change at all.

I have ran mine on level 5 and the ez on level 2 real hard and when I look threw the records the most I seen on water temp is 203 so I doun't think there will be much change I sugest this set up for you o5 I love it

thanks for the suggestion ,

One of my concerns is EGTS . My 05 is the first 3 GEN'R i've owned and its my understanding that these tend to run high egt's stock . I'll look up some of the old posts on this .
