Competition First trip to the drag strip.

Well, I took the truck to Muncie Dragway last night. Keep in mind this is my first time drag racing, best 15. 3 @ 91mph. I was hoping for a high 14, but for my first time I am happy.

you should be able to get into high- mid 14 with your setup, i ran a 14. 72 with 383 hp and 876 on trq. how are you launching from the line? i left the line with about 15psi, i havent had it back up at the track since i got more work done, want to take it up really badly.

Getting of the line was my problem, since I am in a wheelchair and use handcontrols to drive, it is hard to build boost at the line. I was leaving @ maybe 4 or 5 psi. The hancontrol is pulled down and toward your lap for the throttle, and for the brake you push forward toward the dash. When I power brake to build boost the throttle pulls the brake away from the dash. I think I need a line lock to hold the brake while I build boost.

Oh the addiction been here for awhile, it was just a matter of time before I got it out to the track.
