Can you guys that have weighed your road ready fith wheel's in the mid 30's length chime in and let me know the weights? My dad was asking about it.

My 32ft Everest weighs 12,000 lbs 2350 pin & 9650 rear axles.

Thats loaded but I don't pack much fresh water just enough to use the head.

11,800 dry weight. Add about 500 lbs for "stuff". If you fill the 130 gallon water tanks add another 1,100 lbs. Throw in another 2,250 lbs for five quads.



Empty pin weight is high at 3,000 lbs. The manufacturers do this to compensate for the weight of the cargo you are going to load aft of the trailer axles. You can easily reduce pin weight by 500 lbs if you load several toys in the rear.



I try not to tow with full water tanks. Too much uneeded weight. I look for a place to fill them shortly before arriving at my destination. Often a service station will let you take on water if you are buying fuel from them.

That's a tough question. Mine is 34 1/2 feet and runs about 11,000# loaded. My friend Casey's is about the same length and runs close to 18,000#. It depends alot on the trailer and how it is built and/or loaded. A good rule of thumb is to look at the mfgs. specs for the trailer you are interested in and add 1,000# to the published dry weight of the trailer, that should tell you about what the minimum loaded weight of the trailer would be. The published GVW of the trailer would be the upper end. You can usually get this information from the mfgs. web sites on the net.

36' Jayco Designer XL 3610RLTS - triple slides, with washer/dryer, 2nd A/C unit, etc. 10,800 lbs on the axles, 2,700 lbs on the pin for 13,500 lbs total, with propane but with fresh water and holding tanks empty. With the 7,680 lbs laden curb weight of our truck, that puts us on the road at 10,380 lbs GVW (10,500 lbs GVWR) and 21,180 lbs GCW (21,500 lbs GCWR).

Our 30 foot 5ver has 7500 lbs on the axles and 2000 lbs on the hitch. the GCW for the truck and trailer is 17,160 lbs. The trailer is a mid-height Sierra 27RLSS manufactured by Forest River.

My 37'10" Montana (see sig) weighs in at 14,100 with a full fuel tank and a partially-filled fresh water tank.



That includes food, clothes, "junk", and appliances (2 AC, W/D, 2 TVs, 7KW generator, etc. )



All told - all up - I'm usually right at 23K when towing.

Our Everest 363K weighed in at 13000 on first trip. 2670# pin wgt and 19700 GCVW. Probably heavier now!
