I am thinking about getting a RASP and the plumbing from Mr. Poole but am concerned about the AN fittings. Seems that some folks don't think they will hold up and stainless steel would be better. Is this a valid concern? Where can you purchase steel fittings?

Aluminum won't hold up? Are you in an area where the fittings will be exposed to corrosive elements? Would these same factors have any effect on a steel part?

Unless you are using the fitting as a bump stop, they will hold up just fine. BTW, steel fittings can be usually found at any hose shop.
