TO TDR; I think the Five Points Tour idea is fantastic and a fun idea. I propose an additional part to this tour. Make an area

(form, photo area, story in magazine , anything) where willing and participating members who have completed the tour can place stories and photos to those who may someday want to take this tour themselves.

I am curious as to how many have completed this tour to date?

Being only 26, I can not afford the $$ or the time it would take. I have a goal to complete this tour before I am 50.

Any feedback or info would be great. THANKS!!!

Info

I just talked to the boss. Here is his response:

Dave, since its introduction in May, 2005, we've only had one individual complete the Five Points Tour. We featured their journey in Issue 53, page 130.

We absolutly love the idea, but it just has not caught on.

Any ideas?

Thank you for you enthusiastic support.

This is fantastic news and like stated earlier, I have big dreams to accomplish this trip. I am going to check out issue 53 and read their story. I would love to hear tips from folks that have done this. Tips such as take this route and take a photo here, or stop there for dinner. I would hate to take this once and a life time journey and miss something.

THANKS A bunch TDR for the quick response and looking into this. Another reason the $35. 00 is worth every penny!!

Robin,

I think this is a great idea as well. As Dave said I cannot afford the time or money for this either right now. But I had never heard or read of it anywhere until I was snooping around all of the other menus and such. I have been a member since 01 and never knew it was there until a few months ago. Maybe a lil more press time? Mapped out on my GPS and everything. I have also added this to my list of cool things to do!
