Nice idea but who on earth has time or money to drive like 15,000 miles around the country?

My BIL and sister are retired... . and live in a 5th wheel 10 months a year.....



2-3 months in my brothers back yard in FL in the fall and early winter... 2-3 months in Yuma where are dad's at... . 2-4 months working as a camp host for the National Park Service in WY getting paid 8 bucks a day and trailer space, power and propane... . and than back to MI and the house for 2 months... And they love it... . and don't have time to call... because their too busy.....



Theres lots like them out there... ... .

Sounds like the good life to me. I guess I just have to put in 30 more years or so...

Pat, you're right! I'm 29 and have been 'camping' for 5 years in my 5th wheel. My son, g-friend and I have traveled thousands of miles around the country for work. This is the good life!!

This looks like a good time to me, load the truck up and head cross country.

Of course I go through Blaine on my way south anyway. Less then three days to San Ysidro, turn left, what maybe four days to Florida? That little state... umm, I mean TEXAS is on the way. Take another left, another four days or so and your in Maine.

Then just shoot home

What's the reward for the shortest completion time? I know some of the members here have put in long hours behind the wheel on trips. Maybe some of them would be up to a rally.

It does sound like a lot of fun! My wife and I would like to fulltime when the kids get out of the house (9 years), but.....
