My '02 2500 steering has a lot of play in it, any ideas on how to tighten it back up?

i heard of a part made in canada that you can put on, but i dont know who made it or how it works, any help is appreciated

Try looking in the 2nd gen forum. There have been several threads on what causes loose steering and in extreme cases, death wobble. A search there will yield lots of stuff to look at.

Some of the most common problems/fixes are: the wrong steering box, a bad track bar(you are better off using either a 3rd gen conversion or a thuren bar), dss, tie rod ends, bad alignment and I am sure that there are more that I can't think of.

To figure out what you need to fix immediately, you will need to spend some time under the front end of your truck with someone else moving the steering wheel back and forth.
