Fix for surging with Comp box

For all you members who have a surging problem during use of you Comp box (or DD-UFM) in the upper levels, there is a possible fix for it! The guys at Power Edge have come up with a program change that may benefit you.



I have been running a new box with this software in my truck and have NOT had any surging problems since install. Prior to installing it my truck would surge on levels 4 and 5 under very light throttle around 1700 RPM. No more the truck runs wonderfull! So if you are plagued by this problem you might give Brett or Aaron a call and see about a software update. These guys are great!!! Thanks!

Jetpilot, I get the miss/surging on all levels as stated in some of the previous posts about this miss. I'd say it would be worth a shot to get the new software anyways. Thanks for the info.

Haven't got mine on yet-hopefully in the next couple of days finally... . but it's good to know that they'll have a fix if I experience the problem. I've got a mild shudder now at a specific throttle level with the EZ..... hopefully it'll disappear with the installation of the COMP

I get a slight surge too,but i rarely drive on levels 4 and 5,only for blasts,then back to level 1 or 2.
