I was driving my truck earlier and after it went to OD and lock up the rpm would jump up and down about 300 rpm . I turned on my torq loc and than it held fine. could this be a Apps problem where I need to reset it or has anyone run into this and had a different problem occuring every thing else works beautiful ,shifts great this just out of the blue happened. this is my first CTD and Ive only had it 3 weeks so Im still trying to get used to the little idiosyncrocies of these great beasts . any input is greatly appreciated Thanks Jon Wilson

mine has a habit of doing the same thing, i don't know why and haven't found a permanent solution, however if i reset the apps the problem seems to dissappear for a while, maybe that can help you more than i does me... i dropped my pan this past weekend, and from the looks of it i'm gonna have bigger problems in the not so distant future

If the APPS reset method doesn't hold after you have the cables off for at least 12 hours or overnight then you may need to get your PCM reflashed by Dodge... ... worked for me after the reset method was tried again and again... ... ...
