Flashing brake light

Just repaired my LF ABS sensor connection, cured my ABS and brake lite being on all the time. Now when I set the parking brake, my brake lite ( in dash) blinks, does go out when I release parking brake, thoughts ?

If I'm understanding you correctly, with the parking brake set, the "brake" light flashes.

When the parking brake is NOT set, you have no "ABS" nor "Brake" lamp.

If that is the case, then the indicators are functioning normally. The brake lamp flashes when the parking brake is set on a 3rd generation truck (at least it did on my 2003).

Am I understanding your question?

Yes, you are understanding correctly, had steady abs and brake lights ( in the dash ) for around 11 years now! Repaired connector and now they are out, just don't remember it flashing before with parking brake set. Checked neighbors 07 and his is a steady light with brake set .

Sounds normal for a 2003.

That's how my 2003 behaved, unless my memory has failed me (it's been known to happen.) It's been a few years since I drove that truck much, and I sold it at the first of the year.

Sounds like you got the problems solved and you're good.
