$19 a quart 6 sp lube?

Exhaust thread!!

I know this has been talked about a lot, did a search and got conflicting opinions.

I just got a new AF25541 from Geno's and it does not have the foam prefilter. Doesn't bother me at all but want to make sure this is right and that I won't have any warrenty issues.

on the filter element it says:

fleetgaurd AF25541 023030614

should I run just run this or try to get one with the foam prefilter? I'd rather have clean air than the extra 1/2 horsepower :)

thanks

nhincher,

You will be fine with the non foam prefilter Fleetguard.

Remember Fleetguard is owned by Cummins and makes the some of the best filters available.

Next time for more peace of mind switch back to the foam prefilter.

The AF25541 will no longer come w/ the foam on top. It is a product change from Fleetguard. It is still different enough from the earlier AF25090 that they are sticking w/ the two diferent part#'s. Just though I would let ya know..... -Lane-

Does that mean there is an additional part number for the foam pre filter, or no foam pre filter at all? Mine from Geno's is being delivered today.

AF25541

Just bought an AF25541 last week from the Cummins dealer, no foam prefilter on it.

FYI - They updated the Fuel filter also (new part number, I think)

I just re-stocked my filters from Cummins.

And they gave me the AF25090 instead of the AF25541. Is this going to be a problem?

Thanks

Don
