What is the fleetgaurd air filter for my truck.

See my signature and photo (not my truck but its the same kind of big air box you get with the tow group/camper special)



looking for part number and a place to buy on on the net who will send it to my house

The 25541 has a green foam pre-filter. All Cummins 5. 9 applications, except Dodge, call for the same filter withtout the prefilter (sorry I don't recall the part number). IMO the green prefitler is too restrictive and clogs to easily with fine dust particles. Mark at TST also recommends the filter without the green prefilter.

Anyone know the Part #for the filter without the prefilter and please make a comment on both if you have used both

The foam prefilter pulls right off. No need to find a special filter without it. It is held in place with a few small dabs of glue.

In that case, drive it until the green prefilter gets dirty and then remove it. It's like 2 filters for the price of 1!

Green foam=starving for air, IMO. BTW I C you have a patriot Blue truck good choice! Just a pain to keep clean.

Foam filter clogs fast but then I change every second oil change. I change oil at 3750 miles. Don't give it much time to restrict air flow!!!
