Fleetgaurd and other engine brands?

Some one asked me today why he couldn't get a Fleetgaurd for his duramax. I'm pretty sure Fleetgaurd is an oem part for Cummins. I said there maybe a Fleetgaurd that fits a duramax. But don't count on it. Just wondering if anyone knows if one that will fit?

I don't see why not you can get fleetguard filters to fit other engines. Maybe they don't make one for it yet. But then I could be wrong cause I am Go the there website and see what you can find.

A Fleetguard may not fit, doesn't a Duramax take one of those teacup size filters like a Nissan

Have you tried the cross reference tool on the Fleetguard site ?

I know they had filters for the 350 gasser and the 6. 5 diesel.

The filter is smaller than ares. But so far he can only find them through ac delco. How does 14 bucks sound.

Maybe I'll try a cross reference.

Does anybody have spec on the dmax filter?
