fleetguard filter question

Hello everybody... did a search and couldn't find anything, so, sorry if this has been covered, but, where can I get fuel and oil filters if I don't have time to order from Genos? need to get my 15,000 mile service done and don't want to pay DC prices for the filters... thanks in advance!!

mconstable I always get mine from a local truck service center. Look in the yellow pages and call around, places that carry Cummins parts quite likely will have the Fleetguard filters you need.

Call Fleetguard directly at 800 22FILTER and they can tell you who sells them in your area.



I used to get them from a Cummins shop or the local Case IH dealer before we moved up north. Now I get them at a heavy equipment dealer.

I bet Geno's could ship by 2nd day blue ups or next day red ups and still not cost you more than some local sources do.

I've read of this forum that the NAPA Gold filter is a repackaged Fleetguard. No first hand knowledge of this. Just reporting what I've read. YMMV.

I've heard that the Napa filters are Wix. Don't know for sure but it seems that their PNs are similar.

The post I saw said they bought a Napa Gold, opened the box & the filter inside had Fleetguard and their PN printed right on it. It's possible that they buy from different suppliers. Who Knows??
