saw a short article in a hd parts magizine about fleetguard new filters with nanotechnology-based filter media available on some filters,has anybody found more detailed imformation

The FF5814 would be the filter most of us are using in the Cat line, 1R-0750 or Donaldson P551313.

I'm going to have to do a little more searching on this.

Update: So they appear to be 4um absolute, and designed for common rail injectors. The cross to cat is not common rail thou.

My local Cummins said that the FF5814 isn't even in the system yet, so I'll try back in a few months.

According to Fleetguard they should be available, my local dealer is checking again.

My local Cummins shop just called and said they were told by Fleetguard that the FF5814 should be available next month.
