When I first used the FL 16035 back in 2006 I was told it was a 20 micron, recently noticed it being listed by sellers as 30 micron, so wonder if this true or not as I prefer to not run a 30 micron oil filter and sticky use the 15 micron Donaldson DBL oil filters, I only used the LF 16035 as my order for Donaldson arrived late and thought it was still 20 micron so no harm no foul, I only found out about the Fleetguard being 30 micron after my oil change....

Sometime more than 10 years ago Fleetguard went from advertising the absolute rating (25µ at 98.7%) to the 100% rating of 30µ. I found no indications that there was anything physically changed about the filter.

The Donaldson DBL7349 is still a better filter.
