I believe Stratapore is specific to oil filters. It refers to the filter media.

I've used Fleetguard fuel filters from day one for my 24V, and other than a switch from 10 microns to 7 a year or so ago, the filters all came in plain wrappers with no labeling. Don't know if the 7 micron applies to the 12V.

You can get some fuel filters with stratapore media. The FS1253 in stratapore would be a FS19519. There isn't one available for 1st gens. Go to Catalog Map and type the part number you want info on into the " parts details " box. Shadrach

This is the specs I recieved from the fleetguard tech supports:

FS1253 is 20 micron with a flow rate of 61gph

FS19519 is 10 micron at 60 gph and is a stratapore. It is a little longer and a really big pain to put in because the drain hits the lift pump. I had to cut my drain off some to use this filter.
